Earn And Learn Scheme

The main objective of the scheme is to develop a student as a multifaceted personality with academic excellence and a commitment to an egalitarian society. India lives in her villages and to bridge the gap between rural Bharat and urban India, this scheme is basically undertaken for the benefit of students coming from the rural areas, who are economically backward, intelligent and meritorious but cannot afford higher education, needy and financially hard pressed. It inculcates in the student the idea that no work is big or small and develops a work culture with the right aptitude.

This scheme supports those students coming from rural areas, economically backward, intelligent but cannot afford higher education. They can earn money by doing technical work (related branch) after college timing as well as they can learn. There are 14 students in our college ,those are financially week, cannot afford higher education but this scheme gives support ,happiness and golden opportunity to students to earn as well as learn.With a view, to give to some extent, the financial help to Poor and needy students of Sagar BCA College , Jalna ,who are desirous to undertake further Education but are Depriving due to their poor conditions, the college has been Implementing for such Students 'Earn and Learn Scheme' since long, in the beginning this scheme was taken up with very limited scope of Funds as the university has started this Scheme on its own Financial resources. But during the period of time, there has been much expansion. This scheme took its shape especially after sanction of change of name of the university as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.

Sagar BCA College, Jalna has a unit of Earn And Learn Scheme affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The unit is central as to carry out all social service related activities, The unit strictly adheres to the instructions given by the affiliating university, state government and the central government regarding carrying out different activities at the campus and neighborhood community.

Atleast 2 Students from BCA,B.sc Computer Science And M.lib should enroll this scheme each student get paid for only 20 days in month and amount should be collected at the end of the year. different activities & Projects are worked out and are being implemented very successfully with this scheme

This unit has major following functions:

Knowledge of computers, office machines such as photocopying etc.

even working at a telephone booth,

while field work includes working in the garden,

looking after newly planted trees,play grounds,

cleanliness of the campus etc.

Each student is expected to work for Two hours (2) daily.

To Help in Acadamic programme,Faculty academic work.

Formal enrolment of students.

Training programs Organization.

Celebration of important days.

Student has exemptions during exams, as they are allowed to study during job hours. This is really a very supporting act by respective authorities of the college. This actually reduces the burden of managing studies while working. This might have not been the case if they worked at some other place.

In our institute in year 2022-23 total twelve students (06 boys and 06 girls) participated in this scheme, they works in varies places like library, research lab, computer center, college campus.Institute and Students are very thankful to Board of Student Welfare and respective authorities for initiating such a helpful scheme.
